Celebrate International Women’s Day by visiting the display of over 20,000 bonnets inspired by Australia’s convict women now on display at the Subiaco Library. Alternatively, you can attend the concert of songs and stories, put together by the curator of the display, Christine Henri, at the Irish Club on 8 March.
The purpose of the rally is to show public objection to the current proposal and to finalise signing of the petition. Even if you have already signed the petition it is essential that you come to The Esplanade on Sunday 26th February and show publicly your democratic right to have a say in the future planning of your city.
