South West Aboriginal Land & Sea Council
Carol is employed as Manager Policy & Projects at the South West Aboriginal Land & Sea Council a position she has held for three and half years.
Previous to this Carol has spent 11 years working in the Arts Sector in the area of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts. Carol’s experience has been in government at both state and federal and in the community arts sector. Carol was employed by the Perth International Arts Festival as the Program Manager for the Noongar Projects for the 2006 Festival. Carol is currently on the Board of the West Australian Music Industry Inc and has also chaired the Arts Advisory Committee for Healthway and been a member of its executive. Carol also was a presenter for a specialist Indigenous music program on Perth’s RTRFM Bordak Bordak Ngalla. Carol is now on the Board of Noongar Media Enterprises promoting Noongar Music across Perth.
Carol is a member of the Anglicare WA Aboriginal Advisory Committee and the Perth Diocese nominee for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Anglican Council.
Carol is also a mother and grandmother and has a very strong advocate for raising the profile of Noongar people in WA.
