The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) released the draft senior secondary Australian Curriculum for English, mathematics, science and history (at www.australiancurriculum.edu.au) for public consultation from 14 May through to 30 July 2010.Follow these links:

FEEDBACK ON THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM

Grammar, phonics and a bigger role for history are some of the key features of the National School Curriculum which will be taught to primary and secondary students from next year. Public consultation on the draft curriculum closes on May 23, with revision expected to take place in August. Teachers are worried the curriculum is being rushed in, while others hold concerns over content. What do you think about it? DRAFT NATIONAL CURICULUM - HISTORY

The draft K-10 Australian Curriculum for English, mathematics, science and history will be available for consultation from March to May 2010. The History Coucil of Western Australia encourages everyone to be involved in the consultation activities and to provide feedback.
