The History Council of Western Australia operates as a peak body and seeks to represent the interests of all organisations with an interest in history. At the same time, the History Council recognises in its membership structuret he expertise and commitment to history, professional and voluntary, of individuals. Individual membership is welcomed and encouraged as is an active participation in History Council programs and events. The Annual Membership of the History Council runs from 1 July to 30 June and is open to individuals and organisations.
