Felicity Morel-EdnieBrown, Councillor:

 

Dr Felicity Morel-Ednie Brown is an urban historian whose research has explored the development of Perth’s history, heritage and cultural development. She has worked as both a private consultant and within the public sector in the areas of history, heritage, interpretation, cultural tourism and conservation. She established and managed the assessment program for the Heritage Council and was the Project Manager for the adaptive reuse of the Old Hale School and its conversion to the Constitutional Centre of which she became the inaugural Director.  A founding member of the Forum Advocating Cultural and Eco Tourism (FACET), and a past Councillor for The International Council on Monuments and Site and the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Felicity is currently Director of the Northbridge History Project for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in Western Australia. She is also an affiliate of the Electronic Cultural Atlases Initiative (UC Berkeley), a Director of urban consultancy, Culture + Context and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia.

 

Felicity has been a Councillor of the History Council of WA since 2005.
