A fan of history from an early age, Louise spent time in the UK in her teens visiting Roman and other historical sights, then came back to Australia to discover Henry VIII! She returned to the UK in her early 20’s and set about rediscovering all the Tudor sights, only to come back to Australia to discover Richard III! Back to the UK, she visited all the same places (and lots more) to discover the Plantagenets and the Wars of the Roses!
She joined the Richard III Society in 1993, was Secretary of the WA Branch for approximately 10 years and is currently the Branch’s Librarian and Webmaster. She has a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University, and is currently studying for her Masters in Librarianship at Curtin University.
“Who was Richard III?” provides background into the life and times of Richard III, encompasses the evidence that led Philippa Langley & Co to discover the remains of this much maligned King and explains the controversy that now rages over his burial.
Meet in the lounge area.
Drinks will be available on a BYO basis from the bar.
The presentation will finish at approximately 2pm.
A new Richard III mug will be raffled. Others available for sale!
