Meet former radio broadcaster and producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and accomplished historian and writer Bill Bunbury. Find out about his fascinating oral history projects and the recording of people’s memories, creating a vast resource of recorded interviews in the State Library of W.A.
Bill is currently Adjunct Professor of History and Media at Murdoch University.

From Bunyip to Beautiful- Wetlands Exhibition
Explore our changing relationship with the wetlands, from frightening Bunyip legends to memories of market gardens, riverside picnics to local environmental activism. Visit part of the exhibit at the Ruth Faulkner library, and then walk across our own scenic Wetlands to the museum to catch Part II in the Museum courtyard. Belmont Museum is open Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays from 2pm – 5pm from Sunday 19 November
